The fauna on this property is extremely varied and most of the species, with the exception of the elephants and the wild dogs, are the exclusive property of Pia Manzi Private Game Reserve.

The elephant is common, but migratory. It happens that in certain periods as hundred of elephants group together inside the property. Pia Manzi is on the axis of the elephants' road.It is about a historic passage used since hundreds of years by the elephants.

Buffalo quickly moves and frequently. They stay very close and group together in certain periods into the domain to form herds.

Lion as well as the Leopard are common and we can see them regularly. At present three dominant male lions reign as chief on the other groups there being in the property.

Around thirty wild dogs are resident at Pia Manzi. Normally they are nomad, but the important presence of game allows wild dogs to find all which they need.
They are very popular animals because they are endangered. Today 3 000 wild dogs are counted on the African continent.

The Roan antelope is very common to Pia Manzi. 125 were counted at the beginning of the year 2008. These antelopes live in group from 5 to 15 with a dominant and only reproductive male in the group. The degeneration preceding the extinction of the group is thus an inevitable exit if nothing is made to bring a new parent to the group (as it occurred in the park Kruger in South Africa where we considered no more than 25 roan antelopes in 2004). It is thus a very popular sort.

The Sable antelope and Eland are very nomads inside the domain.

Here is a list of the present sorts on Pia Manzi's domain:
